On November 17 and 18, 2023, the first Schaffhausen Sauna Marathon will take place. For this purpose, saunas and warm water pools will be set up in the old town, on the banks of the Rhine and on the Munot. Historic old town fountains will be heated for bathing.

Information for old town stores
The Old Town will be the epicenter for all wellness fans this weekend. Locations in the old town are: Fronwagplatz (by the Mohrenbrunnen fountain), Vorstadt (in front of Restaurant Falken and Panini Bar), Vordergasse (by Schaffhauserland Tourismus), Tellbrunnen, Kirchhofplatz (Hotel Kronenhof) and Schifflände. All stores, entrances and access points remain unlocked.
Participants will wear bathing suits in the old town and a bathrobe on the way from one location to the next.
