We have been working towards this moment for months. Now we are ready to go! The last OC meeting is over, tomorrow we will set up and the day after tomorrow we will heat up! We are looking forward to seeing you!

The 70 best helpers!

The sauna marathon is only possible thanks to around 70 volunteers. The volunteer information evenings took place on November 6 and 7 - followed by a sauna, of course!

Schaffhausen mulled wine at the sauna marathon

It is legendary: the Schaffhausen mulled wine stand attracts numerous people every year in winter and has long since become one of the most popular meeting places.

At the sauna marathon, you can bathe in the pleasantly warm, heated Landsknecht fountain and the Saunah association's glazed sauna is located right next to the mulled wine stand. Matching the sauna bath, the mulled wine heats from the inside. Every athlete receives a free small mulled wine or punch from the Schaffhausen mulled wine stand.

The mulled wine stand in Schaffhausen's old town has been around since 2014. Jörg Göldi and Laura Ferber and their team have developed their own mulled wine recipe and make the mulled wine mix themselves. They are convinced that mulled wine tastes best when it is fresh and homemade! Only Schaffhausen wine from GVS Weinkellerei Schaffhausen is used for the Schaffhausen mulled wine.
