After the great success of 2023 and 2025, the association is organizing the sauna marathon for the third time in 2026! The date is already set: February 20 and 21, 2026! Be sure to mark the date in red in your calendar now! Advance booking starts soon!

This year, 85 volunteers accepted the invitation to the sauna marathon helpers' party in the Rhysauna. Right at the beginning, the sauna family was welcomed with a small aperitif. The time-honored beams of the Rhysauna were filled with the aroma of delicious saffron risotto and grilled sausages throughout the evening. Of course, the Schaffhausen risotto legend (affectionately known by connoisseurs as Risottopeter) was at the start and conjured up the traditional Rhysauna dish from his huge pot, while various infusions were celebrated in different saunas. "Möhl" made the singing bowls vibrate during the infusion, Wilfredo gently swayed his hips to Spanish rhythms and the former infusion world champions Maik Brandenburg and Diana Laig and Swiss champion Daniel Gufler brought atmosphere and professionalism to the yurt. An evening full of joy, conviviality and warmth. Many thanks to everyone who supported the Saunamarathon Schaffhausen with their great commitment!

The second Saunamarathon Schaffhausen is already history again. We and all 170 hard-working helpers will remember it fondly!

Advance sales for the Sauna Marathon 2025 are closed. Only a few tickets are still available at the box office (on site at check-in at Schaffhauserland Tourismus)!

We are looking forward to more than 1,000 enthusiastic participants!

The second sauna marathon is just a few days away. The anticipation is great and the first construction work has already started.

There will be a big party on Fronwagplatz to mark the opening of the Sauna Marathon 2025.

The legendary Chiesgrueb DJs play the hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s. The party is also open to non-saunders. Admission is free!

We know him from the sauna marathon in Otepää: Andrus Arras (BBQ Farm) travels the long 2,150 km from Estonia to Switzerland especially for us to grill his super-fine burger for us on Fronwagplatz. Mmmhhh.

Gian-Claudio and his team from Saunawelt Höchenschwand are also taking part in the second Schaffhausen Sauna Marathon. His banya tent will be heated up and the Saunawelt team will spoil the participants with birch branches.

The Schaffhausen public transport vbsh are partners of the sauna marathon again in 2025. All participants in the sauna marathon will travel by bus free of charge on Saturday.

The vbsh are looking forward to many passengers in bathrobes!
