The second sauna marathon is already history again. Around 1,100 enthusiastic participants took part in the Saunamarathon Schaffhausen on January 17 and 18, 2025. We are overwhelmed by the great feedback!

Sauna marathon - how does it work?
The sauna marathon is a sauna with friends in the middle of the old town.
For the sauna marathon, mobile saunas and hot water pools are set up in the town of Schaffhausen (Switzerland) at particularly beautiful locations such as the historic old town, on the banks of the Rhine, at Schaffhausen's landmark Munot and in the Rhybadi. Historic old town fountains are heated for bathing. The public indoor pools and saunas, hotel facilities and selected private facilities are also open.
Contrary to the name of the event, the sauna marathon is not about speed, but about sociability and enjoyment. Similar to an orienteering race, each team should visit as many locations as possible.
Thanks to numerous partnerships, the sauna marathon is also a culinary journey and participants can look forward to great infusions and ceremonies!
