Overnight stay

Overnight stay at the sauna marathon
The Sauna Marathon is a wonderful opportunity to visit the town of Schaffhausen. We recommend that out-of-town guests book two nights in one of the hotels or bed & breakfasts so that they can enjoy the sauna marathon without any worries and, if necessary, visit the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe, on the Sunday before their departure.

For overnight stays we recommend the Hotel Kronenhof, our hospitality partner with its own wellness area.

Toilets & cloakrooms

The Schaffhausen Sauna Marathon is characterised by the fact that all stations can be reached on foot or by city bus (included in the sauna marathon ticket) in a bathrobe and bathing slippers/shoes, without anyone having to freeze.

Toilets
Toilet facilities are available at several locations. A map will be handed out at registration.

Wardrobes
For participants who do not have the opportunity to change in a hotel or private location, we recommend the Rhysauna. Showers, toilets and a heated changing room are available in the Rhysauna. If you would like to lock up your belongings, you can do so in one of the many lockers. For people who don't have a padlock with them, we sell an inexpensive padlock for CHF 5.
