What would a sauna be without infusions and ceremonies? Of course, these are a must at the Sauna Marathon! Thanks to numerous partnerships, the sauna marathon also promises a culinary journey: A freshly tapped Schaffhausen beer is just as much a part of it as a glass of Schaffhausen Pinot Noir, a mulled wine and sausage cooked on the sauna stove by the Finnish Sauna Association.<\/p>\n

Schaffhausen and Switzerland have never seen anything like it: A glass igloo in the middle of the pedestrian zone as a large, transparent infusion sauna!<\/p>\n

Modelled on the SALT <\/a>In Oslo we combine the sauna infusion with music infusions and the most beautiful view! Of course, you can't just look out. Sauna culture with exciting infusions and spectacular waving techniques will be made visible to the amazed public, right in the centre of the pedestrian zone. The perfect stage for the sauna masters from all over the world who make the pilgrimage to Schaffhausen this weekend.<\/p>\n

Sauna yurt<\/h2>\n

Rhysauna\u00a0<\/h2>\n

The Rhysauna<\/a> is the cradle of the Schaffhausen sauna marathon. This is where we are at home. Here, sauna culture is celebrated with just as much passion by the many volunteer members. Founded in 2019, the association already has around 300 members and runs the Rhysauna in the Rhybadi during the winter months.<\/p>\n

The Rhysauna's great offers will of course also be available during the sauna marathon, so participants can look forward to both relaxation and party infusions with music. Salt peelings are also on the programme.<\/p>\n

Since the Schaffhausen winegrowers and winegrowing communities started operating under the label Schaffhausen Blauburgunderland<\/a> The winegrowing canton of Schaffhausen is in top form thanks to the consistent quality strategy adopted by the Swiss winegrowers. With a great deal of passion and in harmony with nature, fabulous white and red wines are produced here in a density never before thought possible.<\/p>\n

At the Schaffhauser Saunamarathon, the wines can be tasted at the Visitor Centre of Schaffhauserland Tourismus on Vordergasse. One glass per participant will be offered. Cheers!<\/p>\n

And in the small but fine wine shop Rock cellar<\/a>\u00a0there is a Wine bath<\/strong> and Somellier infusions<\/strong> with Anna.<\/p>\n

It promises to be the hottest sauna at the sauna marathon: Under the label \u00abThermic Vibes\u00bb, Andre, Reto and Erich present the largest and hottest pop-up sauna tent in the world with a diameter of 5 metres and four wood-burning stoves. There is also the smallest pop-up sauna\u00a0in the world with a diameter of 1.70 metres. All saunas from the manufacturer \u00abAlpine sauna<\/a>\u00bb from Switzerland.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Three DJs and the multiple Swiss infusion master Caro heat things up with music and show infusions (smoking and banya ceremonies with birch branches). The programme also includes a beer-hopping ceremony by Andre and the\u00a0Massage tent with Mateja from <\/span>\u00abHome of Harmony\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n
